Jacob Barron is a Senior Graphic Design Major at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Jacob grew up in the small town of Carbon, Texas. During his sophomore year attending Eastland High School, he started working as a freelance cartoonist for the Eastland County Newspapers, creating weekly cartoons supporting the local high school football teams for their upcoming games.

Throughout his college career, Jacob has been a member of the International Art Honor Society Kappa Pi, has worked as an assistant graphic designer for the Hardin-Simmons University “University Relations” department, and as the Art Editor for the Corral student visual arts and literary magazine. Jacob has participated in a handful of group and juried exhibitions.
